Motor Vehicle Accident Fund invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – TENABLE IN GABORONE (H/O)
Main Purpose of the Job
Coordinates the office of the Chief Executive Officer and provide secretarial and personal assistant functions including, attending to the telephone, routine correspondence, composing and typing letters, filing and records maintenance. Manages the Chief Executive Officer’s diary and takes messages as required. Arranges and coordinates meetings and arranges travel and accommodation for the Executive Management. Performs administration functions to ensure efficiency and the smooth running of the Chief Executive office. Assists in preparation of Board meetings and in communications with the Board.

Position Requirements
· Diploma in Secretarial Studies (Preferably at a Higher National Diploma level).

Relevant Experience
· At least 5-6 years’ relevant experience with proven executive secretarial experience in a corporate environment.
· Thorough knowledge and experience in wide range of office automation, communication equipment, programmes and procedures.

2. PROCUREMENT OFFICER – TENABLE IN GABORONE (H/O)
Main Purpose of the Job
Assists with procurement functions at the MVA Fund in accordance with approved tender and procurement processes and procedures. Provides professional expertise in procurement processes and tender procedures and guidelines. Ensures that goods received conform to the purchase orders and required quality standards and maintains up-to-date expenditure records.

Position Requirements
· Degree in Supplies and Materials Management or a related field.
· Part qualified in a recognised procurement and purchasing qualification would be an added advantage.

Relevant Experience
· At least 3-4 years’ relevant procurement experience with demonstrable tender adjudication and supplier contracts management.
· Working knowledge of development of tender and procurement processes and procedures and office supply management procedures.

3. LEGAL OFFICER - TENABLE IN GABORONE (H/O)
Main Purpose of the Job
Assists the Senior Manager Board Secretary/Legal Services with effective delivery of legal services to the MVA Fund and Board secretariat to ensure compliance with statutory regulations through undertaking legal research, providing legal advice and carrying out general legal administration functions.

Position Requirements
· Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
· Admitted to practice in Botswana by the High Court of Botswana.
· Membership of the Law Society of Botswana or a recognized and equivalent regulatory body.

Relevant Experience
· At least 3-4 years’ experience with emphasis in corporate law.
· Some demonstrable experience in board secretarial or legal functions would be an added advantage.

4. CASE MANAGEMENT OFFICER – WELFARE (3 POSITIONS) TENABLE IN
GABORONE (H/O) 1, PALAPYE BRANCH 1, AND MAUN BRANCH 1
Main Purpose of the Job
Provides pre and after settlement claimants welfare services where the MVA Fund retains accountability for the well-being of the claimant.

Position Requirements
· Degree in Social work, Social Sciences, Public Health or any health-related qualification.

Relevant Experience
· 0-2 years relevant experience in social welfare or public health for Degree holders.

5. CASE MANAGEMENT OFFICER – REHABILITATION (6 POSITIONS)
TENABLE IN GABORONE (H/O) 2, RAILPARK BRANCH 1, PALAPYE
BRANCH 1, FRANCISTOWN BRANCH 1, AND MAUN BRANCH 1
Main Purpose of the Job
Monitors the treatment and rehabilitation of claimants and ensures that all medical undertakings are observed.

Position Requirements
· Degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social sciences or any health related qualification.

Relevant Experience
· 0-2 years relevant experience in a health environment.

6. CLAIMS OFFICER – INVESTIGATIONS – TENABLE IN GABORONE (H/O)
Main Purpose of the Job
Investigates road traffic accidents in order to identify causes of accidents and degree of negligence by the parties involved including other related matters in support of claims for compensation such as medical evidence and personal financial and employment status of claimants.

Position Requirements
· Degree in any field or Diploma in Traffic Investigations, Automobile Engineering, or equivalent.

Relevant Experience
· 0-2 years’ experience as an accident investigator or related field.
